AAPI Data and Momentive (formerly SurveyMonkey) release results of their annual survey on AANHPI experiences with hate crimes, mental health, and other urgent issues.

A survey with AAPI Data reveals 31% of Asian Americans frequently fear hate crime victimization, with 12% reporting actual incidents this year, surpassing other groups. Comfort in reporting such crimes to law enforcement is notably low at 30%. Encounters questioning their origin and language fluency are common, affecting 64% and 41% of Asians, respectively, highlighting persistent issues of perception and bias.
