Training and stipend opportunity
Are you an Asian American Studies professor or researcher?
AAPI Data is excited to invite you to apply for the inaugural Public Persuasion Project.
This project builds on AAPI Data’s Data, Narrative, Action (DNA) framework where we will engage with a cohort of peers on:
- mobilizing and protecting our academic work and communities during this critical time, and
- navigating the complex media and news environment and handling difficult questions
The program involves two webinars in March and April focused on policy engagement and media engagement, plus an in-person networking event and workshop at the Association of Asian American Studies (AAAS) Annual Conference on Saturday, April 19 in Boston, MA.
If selected, participants will be required to attend and engage in all three components outlined above for successful completion of the program, and will be offered a $500 stipend to support the costs associated with the AAAS Annual Conference registration, travel and accommodations.
This opportunity is open to faculty, graduate students, researchers, and university program staff.
Space is limited, so please apply early and complete the form below in its entirety.
We will review all applications submitted by 5pm ET on Monday, February 24, 2025.
