Ryan Vinh is the Data and Community Partnerships Specialist at AAPI Data. Prior to joining AAPI Data, he developed learning and development tools at Crisis Text Line, a text-based crisis and suicide prevention hotline. While at Crisis Text Line, he contributed to the organization’s equity transformation plan and outlined standards for conducting more inclusive user research. He is interested in the ways technology and data can be used to dismantle the structural and institutional barriers that continue to marginalize communities of color. To that end, he is particularly interested in translating data insights into meaningful actions and policies.

Ryan graduated from Princeton University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and currently lives in Queens, New York.
