The AANHPI Community Counts Dashboard is the first major activation of Power In Numbers, showcasing critical data and numbers of our AANHPI communities.

Using data from the latest 2020 Census, the Community Counts Dashboard highlights detailed national and state population counts for 40 Asian and 34 Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander origin groups — providing visibility and recognition to our communities. This type of data will prove to be an effective tool for community empowerment, advocacy, and civic engagement.

The Community Counts Dashboard would not be possible without the united and collective action from AANHPI organizations and advocates pushing to ensure the diversity of our communities were recognized — and recognized accurately. 

This dashboard also aims to make data relevant to our communities more accessible and help put the power back in the hands of those who this data represents — the ethos of Power In Numbers.
