Earlier this month, FiveThirtyEight published a story on shifting party identification among Asian American registered voters between the 2012 and 2016 National Asian American Surveys. Our 2012 report presented tables on party identification among all adults, but our 2016 report presented party identification among registered voters only.

538 was interested in an over-time comparison, so we re-analyzed the 2012 data to include only registered voters. Those numbers are the ones featured in the story, and we reproduce them below.
