Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are among the fastest growing racial groups in California, and are starting to make their impact felt electorally. This presentation presents demographic data on the Asian American electorate in California, including the importance of the immigrant vote for this group. It also highlights areas of convergence and divergence in the Asian American electorate, evaluations of the 2014 election and prospects for future electoral gains.
