Alton is a tireless advocate and practitioner whose work lies at the intersection of policy and the Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Previously, Alton worked as policy advisor to the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), where he coordinated a broad communications platform to amplify the concerns of AAPI constituencies. Prior to CAPAC, Alton managed communications and development at Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote), focusing on engaging and mobilizing AAPIs in electoral and civic participation. Currently based in the Greater Los Angeles region, Alton studied Sociology and Government at Wesleyan University, where he chaired the Asian American Student Collective and taught a course on Asian American history.
